PDO Thread Lift in Roswell
Dissolvable threads placed under the skin physically lift what has started to sag (jowls, cheeks, brows), then leave behind months of new collagen where they worked. Sometimes called the non-surgical facelift.

Who it's for
Is a PDO thread lift right for you?
Threads occupy the middle ground: more lift than most injectables can deliver, without surgery's incisions and recovery. They suit early-to-moderate sagging: jowls forming, cheeks drifting, a brow that's settled. Significant laxity is surgical territory, and heavy volume loss is filler territory; if your face says either, we'll say so and point you right.
- Jowls that have started to soften the jawline
- Cheeks that have drifted down rather than deflated
- A brow or midface that wants lifting, not filling
- A facelift-direction result without surgery
How a PDO thread lift works & what to expect
Consult & map. We assess where gravity has actually moved tissue, and confirm threads (not filler, not surgery) match your goal.
Treat. After thorough numbing, fine dissolvable PDO threads are placed under the skin through a cannula and gently drawn to lift. 30–45 minutes.
Build. The lift is visible immediately. Over 2–3 months, collagen builds along every thread: the second result that outlasts the threads themselves.
What to know
PDO thread lift risks, downtime & aftercare
Expect swelling, tenderness and possible bruising for 3–5 days, and two weeks of small dos-and-don’ts: sleep on your back, skip the dentist and dramatic chewing, pause hard workouts. Temporary dimpling or asymmetry can occur and is adjustable at review. The threads themselves are polydioxanone, the same material as dissolvable surgical sutures, absorbed fully by the body over about six months. We review your history first.
How a thread lift compares to a facelift
Threads are why "non-surgical facelift" gets said in the same breath as PDO, but the comparison has three columns, not two. A surgical facelift repositions deep tissue and removes skin: the biggest change, the longest recovery, and the right answer for significant laxity. A thread lift repositions tissue without removing anything: a real but more modest lift, a long weekend of downtime, six months to a year of result. Injectables restore volume and relax muscle but don't truly lift. Most faces under sixty with early sag sit squarely in the middle column, and often a combination of threads and filler works best. For the full picture, see our non-surgical facelift guide.
The collagen dividend
The underrated half of a thread lift happens after the appointment: your skin treats each thread as a scaffold to build on, laying down new collagen along its path for two to three months. The threads dissolve by month six; the collagen (and the firmness it brings) persists well past the visible lift. It’s why patients who repeat threads annually often find each round holds better than the last.

Pricing
How pricing works for a PDO thread lift
Thread lifts are priced by area and thread count: a jowl lift differs from a full midface plan. It sits well below surgery and above Botox, similar to or less than filler. Your exact plan and price are mapped at your complimentary consultation, before you commit to anything.
We also offer several ways to spread treatment costs over time, including buy-now-pay-later plans. Ask about financing at your consultation.
Common questions
PDO thread lift FAQs
Is a PDO thread lift the same as a non-surgical facelift?
Threads are the closest single treatment to a facelift’s lifting action, which is why the names get used together. The full "non-surgical facelift" is usually a combination (threads for lift, filler for volume, Botox for lines), mapped to what your face actually needs.
Does it hurt?
The placement is done under thorough local numbing: patients feel pressure and odd tugging more than pain. The tender, tight feeling afterward lasts a few days and responds to normal comfort measures.
How long does a thread lift last?
The visible lift holds six months to a year. The threads dissolve by six months, but the collagen built along them keeps firmness going well beyond, and repeat rounds tend to compound.
What are the threads made of?
Polydioxanone (PDO), the same material surgeons have used in dissolvable sutures for decades. Your body absorbs it completely.
What can go wrong?
The known issues are temporary: dimpling or puckering where a thread sits shallow, and minor asymmetry, both adjustable at your review visit. Choosing an injector who places threads regularly is the real safeguard, and you’re welcome to ask ours how often they do.
